About Norman Tackett
Obituary: NORMAN F. TACKETT TITUSVILLE Norman F. Tackett, 92, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at his home. He was born in Tornado, West Virginia. He served the U.S. Army during World War II. He then served the U.S. Air Force for 21 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. After retirement from the armed forces, Mr. Tackett worked for TWA and McDonnell-Douglas in Titusville. In his spare time he loved to fish. He is survived by his wife Jean Tackett of Titusville; daughter, Gloria Tackett of Titusville; grandchildren, Garry Conrad, II of Orlando, Michael Hare, II of Rockledge, Rachael Browne of Mims, Tanya Chitenden of Sorrento and David Heuss of Orlando. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Brandon, Shayne, Brittany, Alexander, Nicholas, Mikey, Dylan and Colin; and a sister Lillie West. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Gail Heuss. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2009 at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Hospice of St. Frances.
