About Nicholas Cacciatore
Funeral services for Nick Cacciatore, 99, of Hillcrest Avenue, Oakville, were held Friday, April 15, at 9:15 a.m. from the O'Neill Funeral Home, Oakville, to St. Mary Magdalen Church, Oakville, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Mr. Cacciatore, widower of Rose (Iapaluchi) Cacciatore, died Tuesday, April 12, at Oakcliff Convalescent Home in Waterbury. He was born in Cichtadepenna, Piaosa of Abbruzzi, Italy, on April 7,1895, son of the late Guisdio and Ann (Antonio) Cacciatore. He came to the United Stales at age 19 and attended schools in Waterbury. He worked for many years as a custodian in the former South School in Oakville, and also worked for many years as a custodian at Waterbury Hospital. He was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Marie) Graziano of Oakville; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. The Town Times - April 21, 1994
