About Nancy Yager
Mrs. Nancy Yager, 86, who moved into Bluebonnet Lodge when it was built nearly five years ago, passed away there after an illness of several months. Funeral service is at First Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Albany Cemetery. Born Nancy Ada Bryant July 13, 1881, at Nashville, Ark., she was the daughter of John Kelly Bryant and Lula Belle Anderson. She attended school at Bingen, Ark. When nine years of age, she joined the Methodist Church at Pump Springs, Ark., and has lived a life of full Christian service. Her marriage to Charles G. Yager was at Nashville, Ark., Jan. 7, 1906. They live in Arkansas until 1921, when they moved to East Texas. Mr. Yager died June 21, 1933, in Joinerville, and is buried there in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Having resided in the Albany community for the past 35 years, Mrs. Yager's friends here are legion. As long as her health would permit, the was active member of the First Methodist Church, a regular attendant at irs services, the Woman's Society of Christian Service, and the Home Builders class. Since a fall two years ago, resulting in a broken hip, Mrs. Yager had not been able to attend church services or th make her daily visits to cheer up each resident in the Bluebonnet Lodge.
