About Nancy Burnette
Nancy Jo Barnes Burnette, 60 of Bailey passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2024, in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Nancy Jo was a spunky, fun-loving, free-spirited soul. She had a deep love for all of her family, friends, and fur babies, but most of all, her grandson, Blayden. Her best days were spent on the beach or riding her Harley. Though we will miss her greatly, we know she is reunited in Heaven with her soulmate, Alan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Lee Burnette; parents, Jerry Q. and Pattie Sue Barnes.
