About Nadine Nipper
Nadine Nipper, 72, of San Mateo, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Haven Hospice Robert Care Center in Palatka following a brief illness. She was born in Logan County, W.Va., and had been a resident of Putnam County for the past 38 years, first living in Palatka and later in San Mateo. She was a member of San Mateo Church of God, where she had served as a greeter. Before declining health she had enjoyed fishing, flower gardening and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents Enoch and Lora Fillinger; four sisters, Nancy Thomas, Ruby Webb, Ethel Durance and Rebecca Moody. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Eugene C. Nipper of San Mateo; two daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and A. J. Clark of West Palm Beach, and Linda Nipper of San Mateop; one brother, Homer Fillinger of Bunnell; three sisters, Cora Adams and Bessie Thompson, both of Bunnell and Betsy Spivey of Columbia, S.C.; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 2, at San Mateo Church of God, with Bro. Richard Sapp, pastor of the church, officiating. A video tribute will be shown. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens. Masters Funeral Home in Palatka is handling arrangements. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 28 Apr 2006.)
