About Nadine Brown
Nadine Brown, 79, of DeMossville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in an automobile accident. Born on April 14, 1944 in Leslie County,KY, she was a daughter of the late George and Edna Wilson Johnson. On June 16, 1967, she married Clyde Brown Sr and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2016. She was a homemaker, a member of the Falmouth Church of God, and enjoyed cooking, solving word find puzzles, and especially visiting with her family. She is survived by a son, Marvin (Rhonda Gifford) Brown of DeMossville, KY, a step-son, Clyde "Shorty" Brown Jr, 4 siblings, Junior Johnson, Arbert Johnson, Ruby Bowling, Linda Howe, 7 grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Amber Brown, Brandy Brown, Dawn Brown, Tiffany Brown, Sheena Brown, Trenton Silvey, and several great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Clyde, she was preceded in death by 6 siblings, Floyd Johnson, Gladys Brewer, Charley Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Barlow Johnson, and Lois Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Bro. Chris Williams officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Arbert Johnson, Dakota Brown, Jason Brown, Randy Brown, Scott Deglo, Stevie Brown, and Darryl Bowling. Burial will follow in the Gardnersville Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 1-2:00 P.M. preceding the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimers Foundation: 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor New York, NY 10001
