About Nada Jett
Fulton Sun January 15, 2018: Nada Pearl Jett, 100 years of age, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born February 13, 1917, in Holts Summit, Missouri, the daughter of the late Samuel Wesley Branch and the late Annie Elizabeth (Rigel) Branch. On December 16, 1935 Nada was united in marriage to Chester Jett who preceded her in death. Prior to moving to Fulton, Nada worked in dietary and as a caregiver at Granden School in Southwest, Missouri. She was a member of the Callaway Christian Church. Nada loved to garden, take care of her yard and cook. Not once in her lifetime did anyone leave her home hungry. Nana also liked to travel and search for bargains at rummage sales. Her passing leaves behind her daughters, Shirley Edwards of Fulton, Missouri and Linda Bax of Holts Summit, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Bettie Jett and her sister, Nina Crump. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be receiving friends from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bull Cemetery in Holts Summit. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bull Cemetery.
