About N. Taylor
MARILYN TAYLOR, 65, of Metamora, died Friday, March 3, 2006. She was born April 2, 1940, in Pontiac, to Stuart and Ruth (Thompson) Davis. She married David Taylor at the First Baptist Church in Pontiac on June 20, 1961, with services performed by H.H. Savage. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the IC Friendship #252 Eastern Star Society. She attended Hadley Community Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She retired in 2004 after serving 16 years as the Metamora Township Clerk. She also enjoyed puzzles, canning, and gardening. she is survived by her husband, David Taylor of Metamora, children, Kenneth (Lisa) Taylor of Metamora, Kathryn Taylor of Metamora, Patricia Taylor of Metamora; sisters, Ponnie (Bruce) Reh of FL, Carolyn (Bob) Kitely of TN. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angelica Ulrich, parents, Stuart and Ruth (Thompson) Davis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern Star Scholarship Fund, 3446 Sandy Shore Drive, Metamora, MI 48455. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Rev. Rich Geigert officiated. Burial was in Farmer's Creek Cemetery, Metamora.
