Myrna L. Fabiano

On Thursday, December 17, 2020 Myrna L. (Clarke) Fabiano loving wife and mother passed away at age 81 in Foley, Alabama, formerly of Union City, Michigan. Myrna was born in Dearborn, Michigan to John D. Clarke and Mary Jane (Kellett) Boes on September 21, 1939. She graduated from Union City High School in 1957. On January 17, 1959 she married her high school sweetheart, George Fabiano. Myrna studied at Argubright Business College and Kellogg Community College and was employed at Union City Community Schools for twenty years prior to her retirement in 1994. When living in Union City she was involved with the Garden Club and the Union City Alumni Association for many years. Myrna was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially loved her role as "Gram". Many summers were spent enjoying the backyard swimming pool with her children and grandkids. Along with several summers spent at the beaches in the Outer Banks and Gulf Shores. While Gram could not spend much time out in the sun, she took great pleasure socializing with the family and cooking up her grandchildren's favorite meals. Myrna had a creative mind and loved to decorate her homes, she was an excellent seamstress and later in retirement she developed a passion for watercolor painting. She combined her love of bird watching and nature to create extraordinary art. Her paintings of various birds, flowers, seascapes, and most recently her grandkids dogs and cats were admired by many and were shared with family and friends. Myrna also loved to travel with trips to Italy, Spain and Japan. Myrna's quick wit, infectious smile and kind and compassionate spirit will be missed by all that knew her. Myrna is preceded in death by both her parents; brother, Roger Boes, and sister, Sheryl (Boes) Putnam. Myrna is survived by her husband, George Fabiano of Foley, Alabama; her children, Frank (Tamara) Fabiano of Bronson, Michigan, Diana (Doug) Allor of Portage, Michigan, Anna (Bill) Fudale of Superior, Colorado, Orlando Fabiano of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, Ashley Zywicki, Kirsten Fabiano, Tom Allor, Emily Allor, Joe Allor, Lauren Fudale, Billy Fudale, Noah Fabiano, Isabella Fabiano; three great grandchildren, Amelia Stanton, Addison Stanton, Layla Zywicki and her siblings; Patricia Rick, Gary Boes and Bonnie Prough.
