Connie Tadlock Graveside services for Connie Tadlock, age 75, will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, at 1:00p.m. at Hayes Grace Memorial Park, 10708 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, TX 77510. Rev. Carol Khoury will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday with the family present from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Mrs. Tadlock passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Hospice Brazos Valley Facility in Bryan. Maryland Connie Barnes Tadlock was born on August 8, 1941 in Clayton, Oklahoma. She resided in Jewett, Texas where she moved from Santa Fe, Texas after retiring from Kroger's. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband, driving her red corvette, and playing dominoes. Every evening you could find her chatting with friends at Dairy Queen over a Heath Blizzard with extra candy followed by her daily visit to Lendell and Maria's. She was preceded in death by her mother Vera Ruth DeWitt, brother Richard Arnold DeWitt, husband James Roland "Jimmy" Tadlock, son Roland Dale Tadlock, and grandson David Wayne Tadlock, Jr. She is survived by her children James and Kim Tadlock of Jewett, Texas, Connie Jean Arndt of Gladwin, Michigan, and David Wayne and Mikki Tadlock of Rye, Texas. Grandchildren Connie Waters (Clay Waters), Jamie Tadlock, Trevor Tadlock, Michele Newcomb, Ashley Ann Steinfeld (Jason Steinfeld), Dale Tadlock (Jenna Myers), Justin Osborn, Brody Tadlock, Jessica Tadlock (Drew West), Tiffany Tadlock, And Vera Tadlock. Great Grandchildren Abbott, Raylen, Kagen, Trenton, Landon, Calliegh, Maddie, Paislee, Gavin, Alexis, James, Ayiana, and Preston. Sisters Wanda (Bob) Oliveria and Arlene Drew. Special friend Kathy Ware of Alvin, Texas. And many more family and friends. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
