About Modesta Matos
Modesta Matos-Figueroa nació en febrero 16, 1927 en el pueblo de Canóvanas, Puerto Rico. Sus padres fueron Francisco Matos y Antonia Figueroa, y murió en octubre 3, 2022 a la edad de 95 años. La señora Matos-Figueroa disfrutaba la jardinería, cantar y estudiar la Biblia, sirviendo al Señor por más de 50 años incluyendo ser misionera. Ella era miembro de la Iglesia Evangélica El Tabor en Williston, FL desde el año 1998. Le sobreviven 3 hijos; Angel Manuel, Miguel y David; 10 nietos y un bisnieto. Ella esta precedida en su pasaje por sus hermanos Samuel Matos y Marcela Matos; Benito Matos y Santiago Matos. La celebración de la vida y memoria de Matos se llevará el viernes, octubre 7, 2022 desde 5-9 PM. El entierro comience en Rosemary Cemetery situado en Bronson, FL el sábado octubre 8, 2022 a las 3 PM. La familia Matos manda su agradecimiento a Chestnut Funeral Home en Gainesville, Florida.
