About Milan Kaatz
Obituary - Funeral services for Milan T. Kaatz, 69, of 532 Lake St., Green Lake, will be held at 1 p.m. Wenesday, Feb. 18, 1981, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon. The Rev. D.E. Hallemeyer will officiate, and burial will be in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. He was born April 6, 1911, at Princeton, a son of the late John and Clara Henke Kaatz. He married Adeline Messerschmidt on April 20, 1932, at Green Lake. Mr. Kaatz was educated at Princeton and lived in the Green Lake (area) for the past 48 years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. In addition, he was a member of Manchester and Markesan Senior Citizens. Mr. Kaatz was self-employed in the portable feed grinding business. He was also employed by the Green Lake County Highway Department and as a caretaker for E. Tallberg. Survivors include his wife; one son, Clair of Green Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Lorna) Silbaugh of Madison; and four granddaughters. A brother preceded him in death.
