He was a very loving young man, always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed working on cars, watching football and going to the races. He is survived by his fiance, Sheri Mays of Moore, OK; his mother Brenda Young of Midwest City, OK, his father and step-mother, Bobby & Judy Burress of Del City, OK; younger brother Cameron Burress and younger sister Julie Burress; niece Payten Lynn Hickerson, friend EJ Hickerson, all of Midwest City, OK; grandparents Nelda Young of Midwest City, OK, Bob and Sharon Burress of Spencer, OK, and Sandy and John McDaniel of Monohans, TX; two aunts and uncles from Choctaw, OK, Carol and Jim Brandon and Rhonda and Gary Frizzell, aunt and uncle from Newalla, OK, Lisa & Rob Goldsberry and an aunt from Oklahoma City, OK, Shannon Burress; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. 'Some considered Micheal to be a 'giant teddy bear,' but to me, he will always be my 'little boy'. Son, your laughter filled our hearts with joy. We'll miss hearing it and I'll forever miss those bear hugs.' Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006, at 2pm at the Choctaw Church of Christ with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
