About Maude Jackman
Maude E. Jackman Funeral services for Maude E. Jackman, 95, a resident of Marlesta Nursing Home, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, the Rev. Michael Bateson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Jackman died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the nursing home. She was born March 29, 1890 in Howell, Michigan to Silas and Mary Hiner. She married William Shaver in 1909, and he preceded her in death. She then married Fred Jackman, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, William Shaver, New Baltimore, Michigan; Clair Shaver, Arcadia; a daughter, Ruth Halliwill, Findlay; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jackman was a retired homemaker. (The Courier, Findlay, Ohio July 26, 1985)
