December 27, 2007 - Daily Times Herald - Mass of the Christian burial for Mary Ann Naberhaus of Carroll will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll. Mrs. Naberhaus, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll. The Rev. James McCormick will preside at the Mass. Lector will be Shelly Loew. Gift bearers will be Tyler Loew, Alex Loew and Tyra Kammin. Casket bearers will be Junior Loew, Tyler Tryon, Kevin Kammin, Michael Naberhaus, Shelly Loew and Christy Tryon. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery at Carroll. Visitation starts at 2:30 and a rosary will be prayed at 3 Friday afternoon at Ohde Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. A vigil will be held at 6:30 Friday night at the funeral home. Visitation will resume at noon Saturday at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Anthony Nursing Home Alzheimer's unit in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home or church. A daughter of Valentine and Philomena (Schroeder) Naber, she was born March 30, 1917, at Milford and attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School in Carroll and Carroll High School. She and Joseph Naberhaus were married May 31, 1938, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll with the Rev. Lambert Schenkelberg officiating. Mrs. Naberhaus worked for Ocoma Foods in Carroll for over 20 years and at Farmland Foods in Carroll for 10 years before retiring. She moved to St. Anthony's in March 2000. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, cooking and watching TV game shows. Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Kammin, of Carroll; a son, Richard Naberhaus, and his wife, Janice, of Denison; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Naberhaus was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice, in 1990; four brothers: Myron, Marvin, Jerome and Bernard Naber; a sister, Catherine Snyder; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Kammin. December 28, 2007 - Daily Times Herald - Mary Ann Naber and Maurice Naberhaus were married May 31, 1938, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll with the Rev. Lambert Schenkelberg officiating. Mr. Naberhaus' name was incorrect in an obituary that appeared in Thursday's Daily Times Herald.
