About Martin Zadel
Martin Zadel, 80, of Virden, formerly of Pawnee, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday at Doctors Hospital, Springfield. He was born Oct. 5, 1910, in Madison County, the son of Matthew and Minnie Bohs Johnson. He married Phyllis Rawlings in 1954. She died in 1986. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Viola Marie Johnson, in 1988. Mr.Zadel was a retired farm hand. He is survived by one niece. Services will be at Roarick-Davis Memorial Home, Pawnee, with the Rev. Kevin Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Stout Cemetery. State Journal-Register(Springfield, IL) - December 27, 1990
