Marjorie G Bahar

Marjorie G. Bahar, age 88, of Sheboygan, died peacefully early Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. She was born in Sheboygan, on Feb. 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Strupeck Grobelnik. Marjorie attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1942. On May 29, 1948, she was united in marriage to Edward Bahar at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death in 1993. Marjorie was a current member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Being a proud homemaker, she enjoyed baking and cooking, especially potica and Slovenian pastries. Marjorie was active in the Legion of Mary at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of KSKJ. She also was a C.C.D. teacher in Chicago and a volunteer at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Marjorie loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. Survivors include her five children, Robert (fiancee, Marie Aparicida Dos Santos) Bahar, Crosby, Texas; Tom (Chris) Bahar, Joliet, Ill.; Gerry (Sue) Bahar, Silver Bay, Minn.; Judy (Dave) Jauhola, Esko, Minn.; Jim Bahar, Sheboygan; daughter-in-law, Celeste Bahar, Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Rosie (Jeff) McCune, Julia (Tim) Wharry, Laura (Ed) Jarman, Tom (Casey) Bahar, Matt (Allison) Bahar, Becky (Jared) Crep, Mike Bahar, Caty (Jeb) Loth, Bernadette Bahar, Brandon Bahar, Luke Bahar; great-grandchildren, Ben, Abby, Emily, Madeline, Macey, Cade, Mackenzie; and her brother-in-law, Anthony Bahar, Springdale, Ark. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her special companion, "Addy". Her parents, husband, and her stepfather, Frank Trador, all preceded her in death.
