MARJORIE E. ABBOTT Mrs. Marjorie E. Abbott, 63, Vestaburg, died August 17 at her home. She was born Sept. 16, 1911 in Isabella County and formerly resided in Shepherd. She was a member of the Shepherd VFW Auxiliary and the Vestaburg Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband, Marshall; a son, Marshall, Riverdale; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Barnhart, Augusta and Mrs. Lois Freeman, Vestaburg; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earnest Black, Riverdale, Olan Black, Middleton, Nathan Black, DeWitt; three sisters, Mrs. dorothy Bunker, Wolverine, Mrs. Carrie M. Wieferich, Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Mary J. Borton, Vestaburg. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stebbins Funeral Home, Edmore. James W. Lemmons will officiate with burial in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. (Daily Times News, p. 10 – Mt.
