About Marjorie Abare
She was a daughter of Kenneth and Mildred Aucter Simmons. In 1958, she graduated from Watertown High School and was employed as a secretary for Black Clawson Co. She married Rodney Abare on 12/18/1965 in Watertown. She was the secretary for the Post Master Warren Johnson at the Watertown Post Office on Commerce Drive retiring after thirty years of service. She served on the board of directors for the Post Office Credit Union and volunteered for the American Heart Association. Surviving was her husband; a son, Casey (Karen); a daughter, Becky (Shane) Thomas; a sister; Alma "Midge" Jones; two step children, Garry (Monica), Larry (Lynda); a step daughter; Debbie Abare; five grandchildren and six step grandchildren. Two brothers; Kenneth and Edward Simmons, and two sisters, Lucille Davis and Carolyn Petrie died before her. 9/27/2014 Watertown Times
