Obituary For Marie Anderson Robbs MRS. MARIE ANDERSON ROBBS – AGE 83, - Of Chicago, Illinois and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away on June 27, 2022. She was the widow of Johnny LaVern Robbs. She was born on February 22, 1939 to the late Nona S. Anderson. She was preceded by her sister, Mary Jo Anderson, brothers, Lawrence Anderson, Farris Anderson, aunt, Zula Rooker, nephews, Larry and R. Andersonand sister-in-law Queen Esther Anderson of Washington D.C. After leaving High School, she and her husband moved to Chicago, Illinois and they attended Trinity United Church Of God. After twenty-seven years, she retired from the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital.She leaves to carry on her memory, her niece, Carol Elaine Allgood, Gloria"GiGi" Anderson, Teresa Marie Anderson of Washington D. C.; nephews, Kenneth "Ken" (Annette) Anderson, of Dalton, Georgia, and Stanley "Stan"(Marilyn) Anderson of Lyerly, Georgia; special cousins, Mary Ruth Austin, Shirley Austin, and David Anderson; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, GA., 30721 with Dr. Jerry Jones as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Everyone is required to observe the Covid - 19 Rules and Regulations.
