About Mari Jo Dagostino
Mari-Jo Dagostino, 60, passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on February 2nd surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Morristown, NJ on April 9, 1957. Mari-Jo attended Morristown High School, earned her Bachelors degree at The College of St. Elizabeths, and earned her Masters degree at Seton Hall University. Over her 35 years as a beloved teacher at St. Patricks School in Chatham, Mari-Jo touched many lives. Her friendships with students and families have extended many years beyond the classroom. Mari-Jo had a strong faith in God which guided her throughout her life. Her sense of humor and patience through all of lifes challenges were an inspiration to all who knew her. Mari-Jo is survived by her parents, Joan (Lucia) and Louis Dagostino, her sisters Arlene Singley and Mary Elizabeth Diggan, brothers-in-law Kevin Singley and Tony Diggan, 8 nieces and nephews close to her heart, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She will be remembered by family and friends as an angel on Earth.
