About Margaret Quantz
MARGARET M. QUANTZ, 83 Margaret M. Quantz, 83, Crestwood Village North, Indianapolis, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday,Dec. 16, 1987, in the Heritage House Nursing Center, Greensburg. She had been a patient at Heritage House since October. She was born Nov. 25, 1904, in West Virginia, the daughter of John and May Miles Starks. She was a graduate of New Point High School and Deaconess Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a member of the New Point Christian Church and the Deaconess Alumni Association. Her husband, Rudolph Quantz, preceded her in death March 31, 1964. At one time, she was employed at the Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, and later resided in the Davis Addition in Greensburg and worked at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She retired in 1974, and moved to indianapolis 12 years ago. She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Malcolm (Virginia) Loyd, Indianapolis, Mrs. Edgar(Johnnie Sue) Berre, Cincinnati, and Donna Starks, Marietta, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Florence Mae (Dolly) Thackery and Edna Leigh Renoe, and one brother Bernard Starks. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg, with the Rev. Mark Vice, minister of the New Point Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rossburg Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. --Greensburg Daily News, Tue, 17 Dec 1987--
