Margaret Nell Lowe Sanders

Mrs. Margaret Nell Temple Lowe Sanders went to be with Jesus on Feb. 2, 2022. Nell was a bright light to all who knew her. She experienced life with excitement and with lots of love for her friends and family. Nell was preceded in death by two husbands, Her first husband was Lonnie Deurell Lowe, Jr. who passed in 2000. And her last husband was Billy Sanders who passed in 2021; also her parents, Hurlin Robert Temple and Mary Rhoda Bunce Temple Erwin; and her brother, James Melvin Temple. Nell leaves behind all 4 of her biological children: Lonnie David Lowe and wife Liz, Robert Wayne Lowe and wife Dianne, Glen Alan Lowe and wife Christy, and Wendy Nell Lowe. Her stepchildren were Debbie Sanders, Pam Bloom and husband Jerry, Bo Sanders and wife Sandy, Mike Sanders and wife Stacey; along with several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Nell also leaves behind one daughter who was lovingly adopted into the family many years ago, Diane Harwood. She leaves 9 very special grandchildren, Andrea Peters and husband Jay, Ashley Lowe Boone and husband David, Brittany Lowe Troxclair and husband Zach, Crystal Lowe, Dalton Lowe, Courtney Lowe, Caleb Lowe, Chad Futch, and Dominic Futch and 7 great grandchildren: Cody Peters, Madison Peters Amos and husband Kirk, Makayla Peters, Lorali Nell Boone, Shelby Troxclair, Amarie Freeman, and Carter Lato. Nell is also survived by her brother, Hurlin Robert Temple, Jr. and wife Betty, and a sister-in-law Diane Temple. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West, Hammond on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 12:00 noon until the start of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Scott Cooksey and Brother Ed Jelks will officiate, with interment to follow in Parklawn Cemetery in Hammond.
