About Margaret Bryner
Margaret D. "Margie" Bryner, 79 of Mifflintown, passed away at 2:10 p.m., on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Greenwood Center (formerly Ohesson Manor) Lewistown. Born on June 29, 1942 in Mifflintown, Juniata County, she is the daughter of the late Charles R. "Fancy" and Christine B. (Bossert) Dietrick. Her husband Forrest E. "Gene" Bryner preceded her in death on February 18, 1971. Surviving are cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Bryner, two sisters, Ann D. Estep and Mary D. English making her the last of her generation. Mrs. Bryner was a 1960 graduate of Juniata Joint High School, a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church where she had served as treasurer and she was a member and past worthy matron of the Gov. Mifflin Chapter No. 260, Order of the Eastern Star all of Mifflintown. She was a lifelong seamstress and retired as the floor supervisor from Nettie Frock's Dress Factory, Mifflintown. Margie loved crocheting, knitting, following Penn State Sports and all of the Philadelphia professional sports teams. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date with the Rev. Nancy McClure officiating. Interment will be in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Bryner's memory can be made to the Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 208 Lemon Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
