DETAILS FROM OTHELLO OUTLOOK MAY 3, 1995 pg. 14 Margaret Carol Brueher, 50, a resident of Othello, died early Friday morning, April 28, 1995, at the Central Washington Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1944, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Llewellyn and Louise (Flach) Kling. As a young girl, she and her family moved from Nebraska to , NC. It was here where she spent most of her early years. She graduated from high school in Kingston, North Carolina. She then went on to attend college at the University of North Carolina, and graduated with a nursing degree. Following college, she entered the United States Navy and served as a Lieutenant. She served with the Navy as a nurse in the Philippines and Korea, where she met Gary J. Brueher. Following her discharge, she returned to the United States and married Gary in Tacoma , WA, on July 3, 1970. Mrs. Brueher began work with the Veteran's Hospital in Spokane and worked here for a time, and then moved to Seattle where she attended the University of Washington and received her master's degree in nursing. In 1976, she and her family moved to Othello, WA. Here, Mrs Brueher worked as an intensive care R.N.at the Othello Community Hospital. She later became the director of nursing services with Othello Community Hospital. In the mid-1980's, Mrs. Brueher went to work with the Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Here, she worked as the Acute Care Nurse, and then as the director of the Acute Care Unit. She later became the director of the Emergency Room, and then on to the night house supervisor. Survivors include her husband, Gary Brueher, of Othello; her children, Anna , Margaret Lee , and John , all of Othello; her mother, Louise Kling of Othello; her brother, Dr. Charles Kling of West Suffield, Connecticutt; and her three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her father, Llewellyn Kling, M.D. Mrs. Brueher was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Othello. Memorial service was held there May 1, 1995.
