About Mabel Zahringer
Mrs. Leo P. Zahringer Mabel E. Dawson N7256 High Cliff Road, Menasha Age 84, died Monday, April 8, 1996 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born April 11, 1911 in Stockbridge, the daughter of James and Frances (Campell) Dawson. Mabel married Leo Zahringer on August 22, 1939 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Stockbridge. They farmed in the Town of Stockbridge and the Town of Harrison until 1966. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sherwood. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: John and Darlene Zahringer, Brooksville, Florida; a daughter, Mary Burish, Sherwood; four grandchildren: Julie (Eugene) Schaefer, Gerald (Nancy) Zahringer, Lynn (Bruce) Johnson, Lisa (Mark) Kingsbury; six great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Sue Dawson, Brownsville, Wisconsin. She is further survived by her husband's brothers and sisters: Roman Zahringer, Clarence (Margaret) Zahringer, Irvin Zahringer, Catherine Zahringer, Ann Zahringer, all of Sherwood; Nita Hemauer, West Bend; Alvina (Art) Campbell, Hilbert; Rose (Art) Hemauer, Stockbridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo on March 2, 1991; an infant daughter and three brothers: William, John and Ed Dawson. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sherwood with Father Ken Frozena officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
