About Mabel Washkuhn
Mabel U. Washkuhn, 88, of Shell Lake died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Terraceview Living Center in Shell Lake. She was born May 30, 1925 in Springbrook, WI to Archie and Nettie (Cunningham) Smith. She was married in Mora, MN on August 24, 1942 to Robert Washkuhn. Mabel enjoyed playing cards, bowling and watching a baseball game. She loved to go camping and travel with her family. Mabel is survived by her husband, Robert of Shell Lake, daughters, Sherri Dragotta of Berlin and Terri Kromray of Milwaukee, son, Robert Jr of Hayward and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 10, 2013 at United Methodist Church, Shell Lake, WI with Rev Greg Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, WI. Pallbearers are Todd Kromray, Marc Kromray, Michael Dragotta, John Dragotta, Matt Peach and Tom Larson. Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday at Skinner Funeral Home, Shell Lake, WI and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
