About Mabel Vinson
Mabel Louise Vinson, 84, of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth OH. She was born in Huntington WV on January 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Homer & Sophie Mae Gebhardt Parsons. She was the Owner of May's Donut Shop in Ashland KY. She was preceded in death along with her parents by her daughter, Pamela Vinson; brother, Homer Parsons Jr; sister, Margie Malone; grandson, Jerrod Vinson. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Lloyd Vinson of Greenup; son, Donald Lloyd Vinson Jr. and wife Jeanie of Oldtown; daughter, Diana Vinson Childers and husband Mark of Kitts Hill OH; sisters, Lurlene Grimes of Jacksonville FL and Shirley Davis and husband James of Kenwood KY; grandchildren, Hunter Vinson of Oldtown KY, Brandon Vinson and wife Meghan of Chillicothe OH, Sydney O'Farrell and husband Daniel of Sardinia OH; great grandchildren, Camryn Vinson, Emma Vinson, Emma Whalen, Bryliegh O'Farrell, Gabriel O'Farrell and Emily O'Farrell along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin. Burial will follow in the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M., till the time of the service on Friday at the Funeral Home.
