About Lydia Cabrera
Lydia Serna Cabrera of Santa Maria, CA passed away on February 19, 2019. Born July 11, 1923. Sons Harry, Ronald, Richard Cabrera, and daughter Anne Castro. Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Worked for Santa Maria Bonita School District, member of Catholic Daughters of Americans, and Latin America Social Organizations, L.A.S.O. Surviving brother Albert Serna, preceded in death by her brother Robert Serna and sister Sophie Corral husband Manuel A. Cabrera and grandson Jason P. Castro. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 28, at 9:30 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, burial will follow at the Santa Maria Cemetery.
