About Luis Alvarez
Luis Yair Alvarez, 22, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Tx. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ramiro Jaramillo Guerra; maternal grandparents, Guadalupe Vega Maldonado and Fernanda Izaguirre Alvarez. He is survived by the mother of his child, Gretchen Diaz and his daughter, Gia Nicole Alvarez; mother, Esmeralda Vega; father, Francisco Jaramillo; siblings, Emily Fernanda Jaramillo, Vanessa Jaramillo, Francisco Javier, Jr. Jaramillo, and Viviana Jaramillo; uncles, Rubén Torres, Juan Carlos Vega; aunts, Claudia Jaramillo, Rosalinda Arizpe and Ana Gloria Vega Izaguirre; paternal grandmother, María Magdalena Jaramillo ; nephew, Anthony Juarez and brother in law, Jose Antonio Juarez. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery.
