About Lucy Faber
Lucy was born in Lexington, Kentucky to parents Dr. John DeVault and Nancy Guerrant. Lucy met her husband, Erwin Faber at the University of Kentucky. Erwin was in the Air Force and they were transferred to Long Beach during World War II. They resided in Lakewood Village. Lucy was very active in Children's Benefit League and volunteered at Long Beach Memorial. With husband Erwin, they founded the Tic Toc Drive-ins, Fiddler's Three, Sixpence and Miss Lucy's restaurants. She is survived by her son, John Faber (Carolyn); grandchildren, Lori Dunn, Kristi Vento and Steven Faber; 9 great grandchildren, Kelley, Ryan, Robby, Gaeta, Nicole, Jason, Emily, Thomas Dunn, and Jack and Nicolas Vento; great great grandchild, Kylie. "Grandma Lucy" will be missed greatly by her loving family and friends.
