About Lucille Craig
Daughter of Dominick & Mary Swift Preston; married Thomas Craig in 1934 Lucille T. Preston Craig, 89, formerly of Hawthorne Street, Avoca, died Sunday morning at Taylor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in West Avoca on July 2, 1915, daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Swift Preston. She was married to Thomas Craig, who died on June 25, 2001. Mrs. Craig was a member of St. Mary's Church, Avoca. She was also an avid bingo player. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas. Surviving are four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Kitty Langan, Harrisburg. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 from Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home Inc., 728 Main St., Avoca, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Mary's Church, Avoca, with the Rev. Joseph Elston officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday, 8:30 to time of service, at the funeral home.
