Louis Henry Charpentier

Charpentier, Louis "Louie" Henry Beloved husband, father, grandfather Age 80 of Stillwater. Died on November 29, 2022 of (CBD) Corticobasal Degenerative disease Preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Margaret. Survived by his loving wife Kathy; children Lisa, Matt (Cathy), Tom, Renee (Matthew) Oakes. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren Jake, Ryan, Ben, Nick, Joe, Sophia, Andrew, Xander, William, Henry, Evelyn. He will be greatly missed by his siblings John (Jean), Neil (Mary), Rob (Kim) and brother's-in-law Mike Sampica, Steve Sampica, Dave (MaryBeth) Sampica, and sister-in-law Marykay (Jim) Broesder and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Louie grew up on the East Side of St. Paul and attended St. John's Grade School, St. Agnes High School, the University of St. Thomas (2 yrs) and Dunwoody Trade School. As an Electrician he was a 55 year member of the St. Paul Electrical IBEW Union Local 110. Louie had a passion for sports and enjoyed playing Basketball and Football as a youth and Softball, Bowling and Golf as well has coaching many teams as an adult. An excellent sense of humor, outgoing personality and kind generous nature will be remembered by many. More than anything else, Louie will long be remembered by his dedication to his Catholic Faith, love of family and sports. Many thanks to the staff at Our Lady of Peace Hospice St Paul for their loving care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at ST. JUDE OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 700 Mahtomedi Ave., Mahtomedi. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, December 5th with a Rosary at 6:30 PM at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake, and one hour prior to Mass at Church. Memorials preferred to St. Jude of the Lake Church or School, Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf or Our Lady of Peace Hospice St Paul. There will be a lunch at St. Jude of the Lake immediately after Mass followed by Interment at Guardian Angels Cemetery.
