About Lorraine Haas
Lorraine Haas Mrs. Ivan (Lorraine) Haas, 79, of 318 E. Jefferson St., Morris, formerly of Peru, died at 9 p.m. April 18 in Mecosta County General Hospital, Big Rapids, Mich. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru, and 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Peru. The Rev. Henry Fritz, O.S.B., will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday with a scripture service at 6 p.m. in the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru. Mrs. Haas was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Madison, Wis., to Oscar and Ethel (Bush) Kelsey. She married Ivan A. Haas on Aug. 31, 1940, in St. Joseph's Church, Peru. He died June 13, 1989. She retired from Graphic Electronics in Ladd. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Karen) Smania of Big Rapids, Mich. and Mary Lou Haas of Peru; one son, Frank M. Haas of Morris; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one sister. Pallbearers were Peter and Martin Haas, Ronald and James Smania, David Brown and Daniel Helt. --obituary from the La Salle County Genealogy Guild obituary collection--
