About Linda Waddell
Linda W. Waddell, 65, Stockton, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Via Christi-St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Aug. 26, 1948, in Gove County to Al and Tillie (Kuhn) Depperschmidt. She married Patrick E. Waddell on Jan. 9, 1972, in Park. She worked for the Rooks County Clerk's office in Stockton. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Rane Waddell, Stockton; a daughter, Cassie Waddell, San Francisco; three brothers, Marvin Depperschmidt, Salina, Ken Depperschmidt, Smith Center, and Les Depperschmidt, Derby; and a sister, Marilyn Heble, Colby. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Stockton; private family inurnment will be at a later date. Friends can sign the register book from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
