About Lillian Rushing Doss
Lillian Robinson Rushing Doss, 86, of Pine Bluff, was an avid gardener and Razorback supporter who also loved bowling with family and friends. She passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. Mrs. Doss was born January 31, 1937, in Star City, daughter of Havis "J.T." Robinson and Maysel Donaldson Robinson. She was reared and received her early education in Star City, graduating from Star City High School. Mrs. Doss was a faithful member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. She worked for Illinois Tool Works for 21 years, retiring as a packaging coordinator in 1987. Along with her parents, Mrs. Doss was preceded in death by her first husband, James Rushing; second husband, Kenneth R. Doss; daughter, Jeanece Rushing; son, Carl Lynn Rushing; and two brothers, Laverl Robinson, and Harold Robinson. Survivors include her adopted family, Wayne and Debbie Easterly of Houston, Texas, two granddaughters, Stephanie (Michael) Hayslip and Stacy (Jason) Johnson; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Brother Todd Howard and Brother Michael Hayslip officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery in Star City. The visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's.
