About Leokadia Lillian Duteau
Winchendon - Leokadia H. (Pszczolkowski) Duteau, 80, of 385 West St, died Saturday in the Franklin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield after an illness. Born in Phoenix, R.I., on March 29, 1909, she was the daughter of Josephine (Skiwronski)Pszczolkowski of Gardner and the late Chester Pszczolkowski and had lived most of her life in Gardner before moving to Winchendon. She retired from Gem Industries in Gardner in 1972. Mrs. Duteau was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Gardner. She leaves her mother, two sons, David Duteau of Leominster and Richard Duteau of Baldwinville; two daughters, Elizabeth Stone of Winchendon, with whom she made her home, and Margaret Meagher of Baldwinville; four sisters, Kay Sutherby and Irene Fournier, both of Gardner, and Pola Yackowski and Helen Miganowicz, both of Baldwinville; two brothers, Zigmond Pszczolkowski of Shirley and Walter Pszczolowski of Gardner, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Marlen A. Duteau, died in 1982. Funeral services will be held form the Poliks Funeral Home, Gardner, on Tuesday, with a Mass at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tonight from 7 to 9. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Church Renovation Fund, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner 01440
