About Leo Zahringer
Leo P. Zahringer, 81, of N7256 High Cliff Rd. Menasha, died suddenly Saturday, March 2, 1991, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on Sept. 13, 1909, in Stockbridge. They farmed in the town of Stockbridge and the town of Harrison until 1966. Leo was then employed at Fox Valley Golf Course, until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. Survivors include his wife, Mable; one son and daughter-kn-law, John and Darlene Zahringer, Brooksville, Florida; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Donald Burish, Kaukauna; four grandchildren, Julie (Eugene) Schaefer; Gerald (Nancy) Zahringer; Lynn (Bruce) Johnson; Lisa Zahringer; four great grandchildren, Kate, Jordan and Sarah Schaefer; Christopher Zahringer; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Walter and Catherine Zahringer; Roman Zahringer; Clarence and Margaret Zahringer; Irvin Zahringer, all of Sherwood; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ann Zahringer, Sherwood; Nita Hemauer, West Bend; Alvina and Art Campbell, Hilbert; Rose and Art Hemauer, Stockbridge; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward and sue Dawson, Brownsville, Wis. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a brother-in-law, Al Hemauer and two brothers-in-law, William and John Dawson. Funeral services were at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood with Father Kenneth Frozena officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Chilton Times Journal – March 7, 1991
