About Leacy Saunders
Leacy Saunders, 79, of Trinity, NC, passed peacefully at Graybrier Nursing Home on Wednesday evening, March 29, 2023, to be with her Lord and savior serenaded by angels. She was born in Pinehurst, NC, on February 7, 1944, to the late Theodore Rosevelt Epperson of Ararat, VA, and Louise Annie Jenkins of Pekin, NC. Her sister Sandra Epperson Austin of High Point, NC, also preceded her in death. Leacy was of Baptist faith and attended Hope Baptist Church of Sophia NC for years before declining health. She was a very hard worker all her life, a talented seamstress, and worked in textile mills. She retired from Thomasville furniture. She had a humorous side and loved to be around all her family. She also joked with her nurse till her health declined. She loved all her nieces & nephews and cousins dearly. She will be missed very much by all who loved her. The funeral service will be held at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, with the visitation from 12:00 – 1:00 pm and the service at 1:00 pm followed by the burial at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery in High Point, NC.
