About Lamar Quattlebaum
Lamar David Quattlebaum, 49, of Pineville, SC, a heavy equipment operator at the Cross Generating Station for Santee Cooper, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at his residence. His funeral arrangements are incomplete. The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, October 22, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, Moncks Corner. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Doc Williams SPCA, PO Box 565, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Mr. Quattlebaum was born November 28, 1967, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of George Robert Quattlebaum, Jr. and Jessie Lee Quattlebaum. Mr. Quattlebaum enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, raising his chickens and being in the outdoors. He was a beekeeper and a handyman. Surviving are his son, Thomas James “TJ” Clarke of Summerville; two sisters, Rose Jackson and her husband Hank of Pineville, and Dana Tucker and her husband Ricky of St. Stephen; a brother, George R. “Robbie” Quattlebaum, III and his wife Patricia of Pineville; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; 2 great nieces; a great nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dog, River.
