L.R. Byram, Russell County, KY (1934-2012) He was a highly regarded citizen of Russell County, KY. He was a native of Alabama and had come to be a major figure in his Kentucky home, and will have a final resting place in his beloved adopted Russell County. He was a retired plant superintendent for Duo-County Telephone. Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Friday, September 21, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, September 21. Burial will be in the Russell Springs City Cemetery. He was born Friday, September 14, 1934, in Leesburg, Cherokee County, Alabama. He was the son of the late Allie Hooks Byram and the late Almond Byram. He died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 4 days. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hilda Byram, and three brothers, Almond Byram, Jr.; U.J. Byram, and Bobby Byram. He is survived by the following: His wife: Reva Byram, Jamestown, KY. Two daughters: Kim Byram, Louisville, Ky; and Patti (Robert) Lamb, Jamestown, KY. One brother: Wayne Byram, Leesburg, Alabama.
