About Komiko Hedges
Komiko Y. Hedges, 80, of 929 Allen Street, Galion, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Galion Community Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Hedges was born in Tokyo, Japan, on February 5, 1929 to the late Yasuget and Fud (Kata) SoZania. She married Henry E. Hedges on July 24, 1951 and he preceded her on March 17, 2003. She was employed as a dog groomer and was also a school teacher in Japan. Mrs. Hedges enjoyed all animals. She is survived by one son, Jim Hedges of Ontario; and a grandson, Jakob Hedges. She was preceded in death by a brother; and sister.
