Kenneth Rodney Lindsey August 5, 1947 - January 10, 2023 Send Flowers Obituary Kenneth Rodney Lindsey, 75, passed away on January 10, 2023, at his home. Rodney drove an 18-wheeler for 30 years and then worked for 22 years at Prestage Farms. He enjoyed telling stories about all of his trucking buddies and the friendships he made at the farm. Rodney is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyie McGreger Lindsey; son, John Lindsey(Tammy); daughter, Ginger Tutor(Timmy); granddaughters, Lindsey Tutor and Mallory Murphree(Justin); grandsons, Brooks Tutor and Wes Lindsey; great-grandsons, Brady Murphree and Kohen Tutor; and sister, Brenda McGreger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvel and Erma Faye Lindsey; and grandparents, Rena and John Clark and John Wesley and Venice Lindsey. Services will be Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Scott Samuel officiating. Burial will follow in Carey Springs Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Jock Adams, Bo Smith, Gary Washington, Blake Galloway, Justin Murphree, Brady Murphree, and Dustin Tutor. Visitation will be Thursday, January 12th 5-8PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home and Friday, January 13th 10AM until service time.
