Kelli J Craite

Kelli "Janelle" (Blackford) Craite was born on May 2, 1970, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe Ian Blackford and Marilyn (Holden) Blackford. She passed from this life on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home in Collinsville, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years. Janelle was raised and educated in Collinsville and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 1988. She went on to study accounting at Eastern Oklahoma State University and Tulsa Junior College. Janelle spent most of her working life in the home raising her son, Eric. She was married on May 15, 2004, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Richard "Rick" Norman Craite. Janelle was a member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville. She had a giving spirit and loved to help others and spend time with her family, especially around the holidays. Janelle loved social media and following fashion, and in her spare time she enjoyed watching Oklahoma Sooner and Tampa Bay Buccaneers football games and loving on her dog, Kyla. She is survived by: Her loving Husband; ​Rick Craite Mother;​ ​Marilyn Blackford Sister; Michelle Aston and husband Ross And Numerous Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her father, Joe, and her son, Eric. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Tim Prock officiating. There will be a visitation in the chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Janelle's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
