Katherine W. Idle GEORGETOWN - Idle, Katherine W., 90, died June 9, 2012. Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home Published in The Courier-Journal on June 10, 2012. Georgetown, Indiana Katherine W. Idle, 90, passed away Saturday, June 09, 2012 at Guerin Woods in Georgetown, IN. She was born on July 3, 1921 in Lanesville, IN the daughter of George R. and Isbiel Drillette Riley. She was a retired accounting clerk for Tracey Supply Agency in Tracey, California, a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Tracey, the National Association of Federal Employees, the Floyd Memorial Auxillary and the Tunnel Hill Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband-Roy Idle, an infant child-Nancy Idle and her brother- James Riley. She is survived by One Brother-Robert Riley and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Rev. Becky Gibbons and Rev. Roy McClain will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Lanesville, IN. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Georgetown on Monday from 12 PM to 8 PM and after 9 AM on Tuesday. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial gifts be made to her church. Pallbearers will be Johnny, Casey, Eric, Matt, Brandon, and Ben Riley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill, David, John and Richard Riley.
