Obituary Katherine Virginia (Doyel) Hope of Booneville, Arkansas was called home to heaven on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Booneville, Arkansas. Kathy was born on April 2, 1941 in Waldron, Arkansas to Delmar and Lois (Miller) Doyel. She was 81 years old. Kathy was a homemaker and also worked at Pinewood Nursing Home in Waldron, Arkansas. She loved above all else her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and playing pitch and canasta. After the grandkids came along she enjoyed any opportunity to beat them at card games. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 daughters: Pam and husband Ray Doyle of Haw Creek, Oklahoma and Charlotte Hope of Waldron, Arkansas; One son Allen Hope of Conway, Arkansas. Granny will forever remain in the hearts of her 8 grandchildren: Matthew (Kristy) Young of Waldron, Arkansas, Joshua (Courtney) Young of Waldron, Arkansas, Christopher (Jessica) Hope of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Lindsey (Mike) Stinson of Waldron, Arkansas, Jacey (Justin) Bonner of Greenwood, Arkansas, Elizabeth (Randy) Harper of Conway, Arkansas, Daniel (Jessaca) Hope of Vilonia, Arkansas, Nikki (Brad Lee) Ryles of Booneville, Arkansas, her 17 great grandchildren: Ashton Young, Braydon (Raylene) Bonner, Kaitlyn Hanson, Logan Young, Scout Stinson, Talan Bonner, Payton Young, Reiss Ryles, Wyatt Bonner, Jimi Hope, Lincoln Stinson, Lawrence Hope, Rhett Ryles, Myer Hope, Luke Young, Axel Young, Hope Harper and 1 great great grandchild Rosalie Bonner; 2 sisters, Margaret Finney of Waldron, Arkansas and Pat Doyel of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, 1 sister-in-law Ruby (Mitts) Doyel of Waldron, Arkansas. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar Doyel and Lois Frazier, 3 brothers: L.D., Robert (Bob), and Wayne Doyel, 1 sister Gay Doyel, 1 daughter Debra Hope and 1 son Floyd Hope. Kathy's life celebration will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Phillip Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Square Rock Cemetery near Waldron. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Kathy's pallbearers will be Matt and Josh Young, Mike Stinson, Daniel Hope, Randy Harper, Justin Bonner, and Brad Lee Ryles. The family would like to express their gratitude to Oak Manor Nursing Home for taking great care of Kathy the last 3 years.
