Kacy Lenea Smith

Kacy Lenea Smith Age 28, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed on December 30, 2020. Kacy was born July 27, 1992 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Tony and Sherri (Conklin) Smith, with a larger than life personality. Affectionally known as Kacy Lou Littlebritches, she could always be found in her parents shadows, trying to do whatever they were doing, just like they were doing it. Kacy was a 2011 graduate of Searcy High School in Searcy, AR. Her lifelong dream was to become a police officer, and in 2014 she realized that dream as she graduated from Temple University's Police Academy. She worked with the Newtown Borough Police Department in Newtown, PA and the White County Sheriff's Department in Searcy, AR. Kacy loved dogs, having adopted many over the years. She loved Alabama Crimson Tide Football, and would have gladly married Nick Sabin if given the opportunity. Kacy was fiercely loyal to her family and loved them deeply. She was proud and honored to have been able to serve her community as a police officer. She did the best that she could do, and this is the end of her watch. Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peace makers, for they will be called children of God." Kacy is survived by her parents, Tony & Sherri Smith of Pinehurst, sister Ashley Spradlin of Kenton, OH, sisters Rachel and Abigail Smith of Pinehurst. She also leaves behind her grandmother, Joan Conklin of Upper Sandusky, OH and several aunts and loved ones. A visitation will be held from 11 to 1 Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines followed by a 1PM graveside service at Bethesda Cemetery with Minister Bob Mason officiating. Services entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
