About Julius Andreas
Julius Martin Andreas, 88 years old, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Medical City of Lewisville. He was born March 24, 1934 in Cleburne, Tx. His parents were Richard Max and Viola (Smith) Andreas. He attended Cleburne schools. Julius was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Medical Corps. After his service to his country he held jobs as a truck driver, diesel mechanic and a maintenance mechanic. He was a maintenance mechanic for Six Flags Over Texas and helped build many of the rides there at the theme park. He married the first time to Nellie Coburn until her death in 2007 and later married Shirley Jones until her death in 2021. He is survived by daughters, Marsha Wigley of Whitesboro, Stephanie Cawvey of Sherman, Wanda Portney of Iowa; son, Max Andreas of Sherman; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Julius was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Nellie and Shirley, a son, Martin Andreas, a daughter, Joyce Moore and his 10 siblings.
