About Joyce Beckman Lumsey
Joyce E. Beckman Lumsey, 73, passed away September 24, 2011. She was married to Ernest Beckman and again as a widow married Harold L. Lumsey, Sr. Joyce worked many years for AT&T, retiring in management. Funeral services will be Friday, September 30 at Noon in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3500 Graceland Avenue, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. She is survived by sister, Anna Mae Whitis; children, Angeli Martin (David), Sabrina Samuels (Joseph), Gina Baumgartner, Lloyetta Warren (Elmor), Katherine VanPutten (Meade), Mary Parker (Emile), Harold Lumsey, Jr. (Inell) and a host of grandchildren. Burial: Westwood Cemetery, Oberlin, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
