JOYCE BOSTON ABBOTT, age 55, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Tuesday, November 17, 1998 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on August 13, 1943, the daughter of Ola J. and Thelma Lovell Boston. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives. She married Max Lee Abbott, who survives. She is also survived by 2 children Debra Riha and Novia Loflin, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; 4 grandchildren; 6 brothers Gilbert Boston of Brookeville, Kentucky, Maurice Boston, of Somerset, Kentucky, Tom Boston of Burkesville, Kentucky, Joe Boston of Dede City, Florida, Charles Boston of Monitcello, Kentucky, and Dan Boston Monticello, Kentucky, and 5 sisters Nell Coop and Sue Bassett of Monticello, Kentucky, Carolyn Speer of Texas, Betty Buckley and Julia Sims, both of Monticello, Kentucky. She was a member of Amity Untied Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 21, 1998 at 10 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Everette Dunagan giving the eulogy. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
